Susan Lumley's Bio

Susan is a licensed real estate associate broker for New Mexico Real Estate Group.  She has been licensed since 2006. Her attention to detail and superb client services help make a real estate transaction seamless and anxiety free.

Susan has the benefit of many life experiences that contributes to her success as a real estate broker.  Having been the Principal of numerous high schools in New Mexico and Texas, she brings the skills of project management and the ability to build high performing teams.  She has directed multi-million dollar construction projects for several high schools and has used her real estate skills to purchase school facilities navigating the landscape of county, school district, and city government. These skills allow her to execute the residential real estate transaction with a high level of skill and confidence. She holds herself to a very high standard and has been highly successful in different careers.

Her awards include Rookie of the Year at Prudential Santa Fe, Quarter Finalist for Principal of the Year in Texas, Charter School Principal of the Year, and a member of the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Sports Hall of Fame for coaching highly successful track and field teams.  These awards indicate she is driven to be successful in her every pursuit.

Susan and her husband, John, own the Running Hub, a running shoe specialty store in Santa Fe.  They enjoying skiing, hiking, golfing, cooking, and traveling.  Her mantra is work hard and play hard. Rarely is there a dull moment at the Lumley Mountain Lodge, their home in Glorieta.  More often than not during summer weekends, paella is cooking on an open fire being enjoyed by friends and family.

Her connections in the community give her a unique insight to all that Santa Fe has to offer.
